Worship Service Schedule

9:00 a.m. – This is held in the Sanctuary at The Lutheran Church By The Lake from October through April and is a brief Liturgical Church Service with Holy Communion on the first and third Sundays of each month and Festival Sundays.

9:00 a.m. From Memorial Day to Labor Day this service will be held in the ‘Cathedral of Creation’ at Elijah Clark State Park, just across the river in Lincolnton, GA. We use a pavilion by the lake to worship together at 9:00 AM. Folks come by boat and enjoy the service from the water, while others bring lawn chairs and sit under the canopy of the trees to enjoy worship, music, and fellowship together. We welcome everyone- family, friends, campers, boaters- everyone is welcome! (Park entrance for cars requires either a weekly or annual parking pass…please stop at the gate to obtain your pass.)

10:30 a.m. – This service is held in the Sanctuary at The Lutheran Church By the Lake year-round and is a traditional Liturgical Church Service with Holy Communion served on the first and third Sundays of each month and Festival Sundays.

The live-stream link for worship on-line is available just before 10:30 a.m. on Sunday mornings. It is available later in the day and permanently on our Facebook and YouTube page!

HOLY COMMUNION

All baptized Christians, whether or not a member of this church, are welcome at the Communion Table. We are very happy to announce that we have returned to receiving the sacrament of Holy Communion at the communion rail at the front of the church. Those receiving may kneel or stand, and will receive from a communion assistant or the pastor a wafer dispensed from a touch free device to your outstretched palm, followed by individual cups of wine (or grape juice in center of tray) also offered by communion assistants. As always, if you are unable to come to the rail, please notify an usher and the pastor will bring the sacrament to you in your seat.
