The Quilt Circle was founded over twelve years ago by Joyce Isaacson, Karen Divita and Jean Randall.  Originally the quilts were made and sent overseas to those who had suffered from a huge storm.  Following that, the Circle began making quilts for local people in need such as cancer patients, the children in the First Steps program, those who had suffered a great loss and some were presented as loving gifts.  Much of the material for the quilts is donated which is greatly appreciated. 

 

After an initial event, the Quilt Circle will be holding its second Quilting Bee which is open to members of the community.  It is a fun day so please look for an announcement of this.  All are welcome to join us.  We look forward to meeting you.
