Our Values
LUTHERAN CHURCH BY THE LAKE MISSION STATEMENT

We are called as a community of faith to preach the Word, administer the sacraments, and carry out God’s mission to our neighbors and the world.

Our  FOCUS is on our loving
RELATIONSHIP
with God and our neighbors.

                                                                         John 3:16

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,
that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Mark 12:29-31

“The most important commandment,” answered Jesus, “is this:
‘Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one.
Love the Lord your God
with all your heart and
with all your soul and
with all your mind and
with all your strength.’
The second is this:
Love your neighbor as yourself.”

Apostle’s Creed

I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended to the dead.* On the third day He rose again; He ascended into heaven, He is seated at the right hand of the Father, and He will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
