Camp Grand finishes up with their 14th Grand Time!

This past 4th of July week was another ‘Grand’ time for all our campers (4 - 14 ) & adults who attended Camp Grand ’Safari’.  An innovative version of VBS, Camp Grand is a Community Outreach Program of the Lutheran Church By The Lake.  We add a new name on to Camp Grand each year.  Last year was Camp Grand ’Ole Opry'. 

This year we went on a journey, actually a ’Safari’!  With 53 campers and about 40 adult volunteers it was a fun filled 4 days.  With our morning theme of ‘In Search of Wisdom’ and our afternoon time of ‘Fun In The SON’.  The campers enjoyed classes, music, crafts and time at the pool, lake, and our Water Palooza with water blasters and a 30’ dual lane Slip-n-Slide. 

 

It certainly was Grand!  Hope you can join us next year as we start taking registrations in April for Camp Grand #15.  Camp is always the week of July 4th and always no cost to the campers.
